With a roll of a dice
The gameplay of Lost in Random is a strange mixture of action game, where you explore new locations and fight enemies and turn-based deck builder, where a lot of your combat abilities depend on the cards in your deck. This makes combat much more engaging and fun because it combines intense action with careful planning. And perhaps a little luck. On her adventure, Even will encounter many different types of enemies that will test both your skill and your deck.
Oddly beautiful
The visuals in Lost in Random are phenomenal. Each of the locations in the game is designed in gothic-like fashion with weird proportions and a dark palette of colors consisting mostly of greys, blues and greens. Despite that, the design of each realm is unique and original.
Be it Two-Town, where denizens have two separate personalities causing them to build a second Two-Town, called Upside Downtown or a realm that is constantly at war because of the squabbles of three triplets. Characters are equally intriguing and weird, ranging from a little odd and disproportioned to downright creepy.
The game receives mostly positive reviews on Steam. Players praise it for its unique and intriguing style and atmosphere, although certain people find the combat a bit repetitive.
